The Caspian Cobra is a species of venomous snake in North and East Afghanistan. It inhabits arid, semiarid, rocky, and shrub covered foothills at elevations up to three thousand meters above sea level. While it is aggressive, quick, and agile, the Caspian Cobra is the most venomous cobra known in the world. It is carnivorous and eat a diet consisting of rodents, toads, frogs, fish, as well as birds and their eggs. The Caspian Cobra has a lifespan up to around twenty to thirty years in the wilderness.
