Ambassador Fatimie attends Azerbaijani Republic Day reception

May 27, 2013: Ambassador Dr. Sayed Amin Fatimie attended a reception at Okura Hotel in Tokyo in celebration of the Republic Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie firstly extended sincerest congratulations on the fortunate event to H.E. Ambassador Gursel Ismayilzada and to the Ambassadress. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie extended to people of Azerbaijan, through H.E. Ambassador Ismayilzada, best wishes for the future of their esteemed nation. Furthermore, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie offered deepest gratitude, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for cooperation in development and intensive contributions to the spread of peace and freedom in Afghanistan.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie was also fortunate enough to meet with some important guests. From the Japanese Government, he had the great opportunity to meet esteemed representatives, such as H.E. Mr. Akira Amari, Minister for Economic Revitalization and Member of the House of Representatives; and Hon. Mr. Kenji Kosoka, Chairman at the Comission on the Constitution and member of the House of Councillors. The Ambassador also offered deepest gratitude, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the eternal support provided by Japan. For their part, these key friends expressed their nation's will to continue to work with Afghanistan. The Ambassador also met other attendees from the private sector, such as Mr. Zarubin Sergey, President of Ametis Japan Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Hisashi Sugawara of the Memorial Museum.
