Ambassador Fatimie attends Embassy of Kazakhstan, International Friendship Exchange Council forum, meets Hon. Chairman of Senate Mami

April 18, 2013: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie, accompanied by Mr. Bahadur Kargar, Second Secretary and Consul, attended a forum jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Friendship Exchange Council (FEC).

The guest of honor, Hon. Mr. Kairat Mami, Chairman of the Senate in the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, addressed attendees, speaking on issues of development thus far and planned in His nation as well relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Japan. The Hon. Chairman also discussed the World Expo which will be hosted in Astana in 2017.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had the express pleasure of meeting with the Hon. Chairman, to whom he offered deepest appreciation, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, for the Republic of Kazakhstan’s selfless and generous support to Afghanistan’s peace and development. Additionally, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed sincerest appreciation in advance for the Republic’s kind arrangements to host the upcoming April 24th Heart of Asia gathering. Hon. Chairman Mami kindly in turn expressed that the Republic of Kazakhstan remains a committed partner in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s advancement.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie was also honored to meet Hon. Councilor Rev. Koshin Fujitani and representatives of the co-organizing FEC, Secretary General Takatoshi Maeda and President Ken Matsuzawa.
