Ambassador Fatimie attends reception in honor of Independence Day of Republic Estonia

February 28, 2013: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended a reception to mark the Independence Day of the Republic of Estonia at Meiji-Kinenkan.

Ambassador Fatimie firstly took this great opportunity to wish H.E. Ambassador Toivo Tasa sincerest congratulations, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, on this auspicious occasion. Ambassador Fatimie further praised the role of the nation in contribution to the peace and development of Afghanistan both directly and as a member of important unions.

Ambassador Fatimie also had the pleasure of meeting with H.E. Ambassador Volker Stanzel of the Federal Republic of Germany. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie also expressded to H.E. Ambassador Stanzel sincerest appreciaiton for His nation’s key role within the ever-improving lives of Afghan citizens. Long-time, close friends, the two were able to discuss a number of issues related to regional affairs and matters of shared interest.
