Ambassador Fatimie meets with H.E. Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Yabes, H.E. Ambassador Lopez of the Republic of the Philippines

February 25, 2013: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie received a warm welcome at the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines where he met with H.E. Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Jesus I. Yabes, H.E.’s delegation including H.E. Assistant Secretary Jaime Victor B. Ledda, and H.E. Ambassador Manuel M. Lopez. Mr. Sayed Ali Asghar Amiri, Third Secretary at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo, was also in attendance.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie first and foremost expressed deepest appreciation for the excellent relations that have defined Afghan-Philippine bilateral ties. Furthermore, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie offered sincerest appreciation for the hospitality that he was extended on his recent visit to the Republic to present his credentials there as Non-Resident Ambassador. The parties then discussed the further positive development of relations on many fronts as well as other areas of mutual concern.
