Ambassador, Ambassadress, delegation from the Embassy visit Mr. Yazdani of Yazdani Corporation

February 14, 2013: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie, the Ambassadress, and a delegation from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan visited Mr. Nabard E. Yazdani and Mrs. Yazdani at the premises of Yazdani Corporation. The Embassy delegation consisted of Mr. Sayed Ali Asghar Amiri, Third Secretary; Mr. Mohd. Naeem Tokhi, Commercial Attaché; and Mr. Jason Pratt, Public Affairs Officer.

Yazdani Corporation, a dealer of fine hand-made carpets, was organizing a special campaign at the time of the visit. A number of amazing Afghan-made works were shown to the Ambassador and his team.

Ambassador Fatimie praised Mr. Yazdani on enhancing connections between Afghanistan and Japan and promoting more understanding of Afghan craftsmanship, history, and culture by promoting this Afghanistan-originated art form. Furthermore, the Ambassador expressed deep gratitude for the friendship extended personally and to the Embassy by Mr. Yazdani and for the inspiration he instills in those seeking to create commercial ties between the two nations.
