Ambassador Fatimie welcomes Dr. Minami of Japan Psychiatric Hospitals Association, Mr. Asefi to the Embassy

November 28, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie welcomed to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo Dr. Yoshitaka Minami of the Japan Psychiatric Hospitals Association and Mr. Farouq Asefi, a long-time friend of the Embassy.

Having previously served as Minister of Public Health, Ambassador Fatimie was pleased to learn of Dr. Minami’s interest in contributing to the mental health care sector in Afghanistan, as such Ambassador Fatimie expressed sincere gratitude for this noble intent and also conveyed his deepest appreciation to Mr. Asefi for continuously serving as a bridge in facilitating important connections as this. The Ambassador particularly encouraged Dr. Minami to consider supporting Neurology in addition to Psychiatry in the nation, to which Dr. Minami responded positively.
