Ambassador Fatimie meets with Professor Isezaki of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies

September 13, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie and Ms. Parwana Paikan, Third Secretary, extended a warm welcome to Professor Isezaki of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Professor Isezaki is a long-time friend of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo.

Ambassador Fatimie expressed sincerest appreciation for Professor Isezaki’s kind multifaceted role that he has played in Afghanistan, in conjunction with the Japanese Government, as an educator, and as a facilitator for research and dialogue pertaining to the nation.

Professor Isezaki spoke on his continuing determination to set up at Kabul University a graduate level program for Peace Studies through the Faculty of Law and Political Science. Related to this, the Professor also expressed that he is willing to help provide materials to the University’s library. Congratulating Professor Isezaki on his unwavering dedication, the Ambassador promised to follow up on the issue.
