September 12, 2012: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie and the staff of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Tokyo hosted a reception to honor H.E. the martyred Former President Burhanuddin Rabbani, the heroic Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud, and all other heroes. Homage was paid to the better lives that were brought as a result of these individuals; they remain forever missed.

Attending this most special of receptions were members of an agricultural study group visiting Japan, their Japan International Cooperation Agency hosts, and representatives of the Afghan students pursuing education in Japan. Ambassador Fatimie, on behalf of the people and Government of Afghanistan, thanked the participants for sharing this meaningful occasion together with the Embassy staff, and encouraged all to continue with their personal roles in bettering the nation and the situation of Afghan people as a testament to our fallen heroes.
