H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie Attends Eid al-Adha Prayers


October 4, 2014: H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie went to the Tokyo Camii for Eid al-Adha prayers and was warmly welcomed by the Ambassador of Turkey, H.E. Mr. Ahmet Bulent Meric, and Imam Nurullah Ayaz. Eid al-Adha is an important holiday for Muslims and is celebrated globally. Tokyo Camii, also called Tokyo Mosque, is Japan’s largest Mosque and is beautifully designed based on Ottoman religious architecture.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie was joined with the Ambassador of Kuwait H.E. Mr. Abdul-Rahman Humood Al-Otaibi, the Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Farukh Amil and other Muslim Ambassadors and dignitaries in celebrating the Eid al-Adha holiday. A large group of students from Afghanistan studying in Japan were also present and received the warm wishes of a happy Eid from H.E. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie. Together, everyone enjoyed a dinner and the warm hospitality of Imam Nurullah Ayaz.
