Ambassador Dr. Fatimie, Mrs. Fatimie attend reception at Embassy of Nepal in honor of newly appointed Indian representative to Seychelles

June 3, 2014: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie and Mrs. Fatimie attended a reception hosted by H.E. Ambassador Madan Kumar Bhattarai of Nepal in honor of Mr. Arvind Singh, who has served as Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of India in Tokyo and has been assigned to be the nation’s Ambassador to the Republic of Seychelles. Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) were in attendance.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had the opportunity to speak with many of the distinguished participants. To the host, H.E. Ambassador Bhattarai, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie complimented the excellent reception and the thoughtfulness of holding such an event. To Mr. Singh, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie offered sincerest congratulations, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, on being called upon to serve in this excellent new role, and wished him great success. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie also had the pleasure of meeting with Director Makoto Matsuda of the Southwest Asia Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan as well as Mrs. Matsuda.
