Ambassador Fatimie attends National Day reception of the Kingdom of Cambodia

November 8, 2013: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended a reception in honor of the National Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had opportunity to express to H.E. Ambassador Hor Monirath, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, sincerest congratulations on this auspicious day and best wishes to H.E. and the noble Kingdom.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie also had the honor of meeting Madame Sadako Ogata, previous president of JICA and now advisor to H.E. the Prime Minister and President Tanaka of JICA. The Ambassador expressed deepest gratitude for the truly effective and development-bringing work that Madame Ogata did in the past and continues to this day. The two also spoke on other issues related to Afghanistan. Ambassador Fatimie was also able to meet with H.E. Mr. Seiji Kihara, Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs. To H.E. Mr. Kihara, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie offered heartfelt appreciation for the key friendship that the Ministry and the Government of Japan have offered to Afghanistan, contributing to the realization of better lives for the Afghan people
