Ambassador Fatimie attends Czech National Day Reception

October 24, 2013: Ambassador Dr. Sayed M. Amin Fatimie attended the National Day reception of the Czech Republic at the premises of the Delegation of the European Union in Tokyo.

On this most celebratory of occasions, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had the occasion to wish H.E. Ambassador Kateřina Fialková, on behalf of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, heartfelt congratulations. Furthermore, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie expressed deepest appreciation for the kind and generous support that the Czech Republic has extended to Afghanistan’s peace and development, contributing to true and visible progress.

Ambassador Dr. Fatimie had the opportunity to also meet with a number of esteemed guests at the event. To H.E. Mr. Hirotaka Akamatsu (pictured above), Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Hon. Representative Hajime Funada (pictured below), the Ambassador also described the enduring gratitude of the people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for the life-bettering cooperation that Japan continues to provide. Furthermore, Ambassador Dr. Fatimie met with Mr. Georgios Stilianopoulos, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Greece; Mr. Marco Santiváňez, Minister Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Peru; President Kazumasa Tazoe and Vice Madam Chairman Stsue Yoshimatsu of the Fukuoka Japan-Czech Republic Association; and Ms. Aga Charytoniuk of Inter Media Japan.
