President Ghani’s Condolence Message on the Death of Afghanistan’s Former Ambassador to Japan, H.E. Mr. Haroon Amin

H.E. Amin

It is with great sadness that the passing of His Excellency Mr. Haron Amin has occurred after a battle with cancer at the young age of forty-seven. His Excellency Mr. Amin was the former Ambassador to Japan from 2004 to 2009 and had a great impact in forming the warm and robust relations between Afghanistan and Japan that are enjoyed today. His Excellency President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani offered His condolences and sympathies to His family, relatives and friends and asked for Allah’s forgiveness and blessings for Him and that His soul may rest in peace. His passing is a great loss to the people of Afghanistan, and indeed the world, as He was one of the most experienced and highly qualified servants of the people of Afghanistan, despite His young age. His Excellency Mr. Amin leaves behind His wife and children, and a mourning nation.
