264 cops graduate from Nangarhar training centre

Jalalabad, December 16, 2007 (Pajhwok Afghan News): A batch of 264 policemen including officers graduated from a police training centre in the eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday, an official said.

Head of the training centre Col. Mafad Khan, in a chat with Pajhwok Afghan News, said the graduates hailed from Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Nuristan provinces.

Officers, guards and constables were trained by experienced and qualified mentors, he added, explaining the number of trained policemen had gone up with the passing out of the graduates.

Policemen from Logar, Khost, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Daikundi, Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir and Bamyan provinces have also been trained at the same centre.
