H.E. Mr. Mitsuji Suzuka, Newly Appointed Ambassador of Japan to Afghanistan, Presents his Credentials to H.E. President Dr. Ghani


On November 9, 2016 H.E. Mr. Mitsuji Suzuka was welcomed in a small ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Kabul by H.E. Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, in order to present his credentials as the newly appointed Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, of Japan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Also present to greet the new Ambassador were Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Salahuddin Rabbani and Mr. Abdul Salam Rahimi, Administrative Office of the President.


In the meeting, H.E. Mr. Suzuka was congratulated on his appointment as Ambassador of Japan to Kabul. All those present expressed appreciation to H.E. Mr Suzuka for Japan’s sincere and dedicated cooperation with Afghanistan across many sectors for over 15 years. H.E. President Dr. Ghani asked H.E. Mr. Suzuka to work together in furthering relations between the two countries and in trying to explore avenues for further cooperation. The Minister of Foreign Affairs also put emphasis on further developing of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.
